Ontario Renovates Program
Need help with home repairs or accessibility upgrades? Ontario Renovates provides financial assistance to low- to moderate-income homeowners in Haldimand and Norfolk.
What you get
- Up to $15,000 as a 10-year forgivable loan for approved repairs
- Up to $5,000 grant for accessibility modifications (no repayment)
Eligible repairs
- Structural, heating, electrical, plumbing, fire safety
- Accessibility modifications
Who can apply
- Own and live in a home in Haldimand or Norfolk
- Home value under $705,833
- Household income under $120,800
- Assets under $50,000
Who is NOT eligible
- Current homeowners who received federal/provincial funding for purchase or repairs
- Homes outside Haldimand or Norfolk
- Homes used for rental or investment purposes
- Applicants exceeding income or asset limits

Applications are open until July 24, 2026. Funding is limited, and priority will be given to urgent repairs.
